  I was disappointed in my experience with Marilees Bridal. The sales associate measured me at a size 12, then recommended I purchase a size 14 (but told me in the end it's up to me to decide, all the while making me fear I would gain weight and not be able to fit a 12). I decided to go with the size 14 out of fear I would put weight on. When I got the dress, it was swimming on me. My dress is all over lace and extremely delicate - the alterations cost me over $600 in the end!! On top of that, I told the sales associate that I required a dress I could have a built in bra because I have large breast (which she told me was no problem at all for any seamstress). They referred me to a seamstress named Hong, who refused to take me on as a client once I was already at her house with the dress on. She said I should have "bought a dress appropriate for my body shape" and that I couldn't wear a dress without a bra because my breast would be hanging too low (i'm 27. They aren't hanging low yet...). After that discouraging experience, I finally got referred to a wonderful seamstress who has helped me get my disaster of a dress to what I need it to be (but as i've said, it's cost a fortune). I wish the bridal consultant would have explained my options and what would be best suited for me better. Instead, I felt rushed and not to mention pressured to make a decision that day, and I ended up with a dress that required a ton of work to even fit me properly. They need to listen to their clients, and take more time to make sure they get the RIGHT dress
